Many times we choose flowers to give meaning to the gesture we make while these blossoms are presented; messages of love, of admiration, of compassion, of passion, and how many other human traits and feelings are contained in these meanings that the colorful appearance and the type of blooms are displaying to the eye of the beholders?! The same happens for the brides-to-be the moment they need to send their message to the world of their invitees. Not to mention that in fact it the first time that they come across to the matter of purchasing flowers, realizing that their acquire costs rather much more than they have ever imagined.

This is the same that happened to my friend once she has come to the flowers chapter in the process of her wedding planning. Her wedding was planned for the month of July since this month is also the month of her birth date and beside July is the month of hot summer time and she is by definition a summer time person. I have never heard her complaining about the hot days of summer times, I have never heard her being at least once on the verge of losing her temper due to the several scorchers that summer brings from time to time to remind us of the global warming!

And thus reaching the chapter in which she was supposed to find the most representative flowers for her beautiful event I draw her attention to the blossom of Larkspur which is described as being the symbol for open heart, ardent attachment, levity and surprisingly the birth flower for the natives of July month. Choosing wedding flowers Larkspur for the July celebration of her wedding raised a set of questions: was this blossom appropriate for her special event, what colors are the ones to confer the bloom the meanings for the wedding event?

In what floral combination are the wedding flowers Larkspur used in order to have a unique bridal bouquet, the one supposed to adorn the hands of my friend while she walks down the ails to meet the love of her life? We soon find out that white larkspur stands for the meaning of joyful and happy-go-lucky, whereas the purple one goes for a sweet disposition of the heart. This flower presents also a pink coloring of its bloom but this one means fickleness and my friend is definitely eluding this color out of the floral decoration of her wedding festivity.

She is meanwhile determined to check for this flower availability getting to know that the costs of these specific blooms are pretty high, but even so she intends to have it included in the floristic ambient of her special day. The combination of flowers to be placed next to the Larkspur is offered by her florist in the format of a bouquet to contain yellow sunflowers, orange daisies, blue iris and purple larkspur. She is willing to let my friend know that actually the purple larkspur means the first love, which is exactly how it happened for my friend once she had met the man to whom she is ready to commit with the act of the marriage in the month of July.
