Wedding Bouquets

Wedding bouquets are carried by the bride and her bridesmaids during the ceremony. They are perfect accessories which complement their dresses and make their appearance more sophisticated. Simple and beautiful wedding bouquets require only creativeness, which is the element of success for decorations in general.

Wedding bouquets must be created to match the wedding dress and the dresses of the bridesmaids. Usually, the bride wears a bouquet that is different from those that are held by the bridesmaids by being more complex and looking much more complicated.

Wedding bouquets can be created by the bride and bridesmaids themselves or can be made by professional florists. The fact is that florists usually demand impressive sums for flowers and for their labor and these may seem too much for many brides. If this is your case too, think of buying the flowers from the internet or from flower markets and then create the bouquets at home. Choose the simple design of a round wedding bouquet and try to find resistant flowers that will look great in the end in spite of your possible inaptitude. Gather the flowers together with ribbons that are colored in a hue that coordinates with the flowers’ hue and pin a brooch or glue crystals on the fabric.

It must be emphasized again that the bouquet must complement the wedding dress. If the dress is very elaborate, it isn’t a good idea to have a teardrop wedding bouquet. Choose instead a simple round bouquet made of tulips: red as a symbol of true love, yellow as a symbol of cheerful thoughts or purple because purple tulips mean royalty. On the other hand, if the wedding gown seems to look too simple, try to make your appearance more beautiful with a bouquet made of calla lilies. Calla lilies can make any wedding dress look magnificent, as they are delicate, feminine and classy flowers.

In articles like this I wonder if the writer has considered the problems brides can face in doing their own flowers such as how to keep them cool or how to know which flowers need to rest before cooling and which need to be cooled immediately. Do brides know that leaves contaminate the water and will spoil their flowers? Do they know that gerbera daisies do not stand up by themselves and need help? When would brides be getting their flowers in? And when would they be creating their bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and centerpieces? The day before their wedding? Wouldn’t they be getting their nails done and visiting with family, having luncheons and decorating their church, etc.? Do they know that the prices they see on online flower buying websites do not include shipping, which could cost up to $65 a box? These are things you should be telling your readers as you consider DIY flowers.
