The orchids are by far among the most romantic, feminine, delicate and elegant flowers that a bride can choose for her wedding. These flowers are versatile and they can be arranged in various bouquets and centerpieces, according to the formality, season, theme, venue and perhaps amplitude of the wedding each one of you is planning. There are many qualities that these superb flowers feature.
The have lavish blooms, romantic petals and vibrant colors, long stems and a tropical appearance. The only minus is the lack of fragrance or perfume. But we believe that their ravishing beauty can compensate in this regard and still make them excellent and fabulous flower choices for a wedding. Orchids are sensual, feminine, dainty, chic, sumptuous, seductive and fancy. They can be incorporated in both modern and classic wedding bouquets, although their final look depends on the color each one of you is choosing.
The paler shades of pink, white and cream and definitely more adequate for the classic weddings or for the antique inspired ceremonies and receptions. The blush pink, the buttercup yellow, the lime green and the violet orchids are also adequate for vintage inspired wedding bouquets or for refined weddings. If you’re interested in composing a more dramatic, bold and provocative vibrant orchid wedding bouquet, then you should choose from the dynamic vivacious color palettes.
The burgundy, the mauve, the magenta, the hot pink, the fuchsia, the chocolate brown, the deep green and the deep red colored orchids are only a few examples of this kind. We are convinced that you will be able to compose a fascinating and impressive bouquet of orchids using these colors according to the type of wedding you’re planning. For destination weddings planned on beaches or islands we recommend the bright yellow and purple orchids, and for fall weddings perhaps the brown and the red assortments are more adequate. As you can see from these images, the lovely orchids look even more attractive and romantic when used next to calla lilies and roses! Orchids work perfectly well next to gardenias, ranunculuses, sweet peas and peonies as well!
