Sunflower wedding flowers

If you are organizing a more rustic and traditional but still modern chic wedding, we recommend you to use sunflower wedding flowers.

This type of flower is very practical, long lasting and easy to work with due to its long firmly stems and lavish blooms and petals. Unfortunately not many brides are aware of the beauty and style of these flowers that always seem to surprise us with their natural majestic look. The uniqueness of a sunflower lies in its bright sunny yellow petals and black or dark centers.

Due to this dual nuance, a modern sunflower wedding flower arrangement or bouquet can be easily composed without any additional wedding flowers. If you want to obtain a higher visual impact, you can gather a few stems of sunflowers and tie them up with a rustic string or a rope without adding any extra greeneries or fillers.

Using a single type of flower in a two-toned bridal bouquet might look like a very inspiring idea for a more sensual, attractive, intriguing and refined stylish look. One can carry a sunflower wedding flower bouquet on a summer wedding or on a fall season wedding.

These flowers combine excellent with roses and that is why so many brides are choosing a sunflower wedding flower bouquet filled with golden, red or burnt orange roses. One can also incorporate chrysanthemums, gerbera daises, anemones, star gazer lilies, calla lilies, peonies, orchids, ranunculus or gardenias.

How would you like to wear a yellow anemone sunflower wedding flower bouquet? Don’t you think that this combination is one of the most inspired one that you can choose for a more assorted, impressing and rich bridal look? Well, due to the similar two-toned aspect of anemones that also come in yellow petals with black centers, an anemone sunflower wedding flower bouquet can actually make you attract all the eyes of your wedding attendants.

Another example of inspired and creative sunflower wedding flower bouquet could be the gerbera daisy sunflower wedding bouquet. You can find gerbera daises in all types of colors that you need and imagine. A gorgeous combination would be to use blue gerbera daises with yellow sunflowers in a single arrangement or in a wedding bouquet.

You can also choose an orange gerbera daisy sunflower wedding flower bouquet for an autumnal wedding, or you can choose a yellow and red gerbera daisy sunflower wedding flower bouquet for a summer time wedding. Sunflowers make an excellent pair with chrysanthemums that also look similar, except for the centers. Purple wedding flowers such as irises or lavenders can be added to a yellow sunflower wedding flower bouquet. One can also pair sunflower wedding flowers with chamomiles and obtain a very country-side rustic style wedding bouquet.

I think it’s awful to wear sun flowers at your wedding. You look like a redneck with those. Sunflowers are not at all elegant and they look quite ordinary in fact. I think roses are the best choice if you want elegant wedding flowers and orchids are pretty interesting as well. Sunflowers lead me to think of a regular wedding with nothing special at all to offer.

Roses are so typical and predictable at weddings. Sunflowers are not at all redneck. More country and rustic. They are absolutely refreshing to see at weddings.

I think that although Roses are predictable, they are the most elegant flowers you can have and they represent love! So I agree with Lucile. Sunflowers are nothing exciting and you can only find them during the summer, roses are here all year round. So something different at a wedding is nice but sunflowers dont do it for me. You then have to stick to yellow as your theme and it is restricting, whereas you can have roses in all sorts of colours!

I dont understand how sunflowers would be “redneck and not a sign of love. The are from the love capital of the world. A very elegant place called Italy.
