The Hindu weddings are marriages that unite two individuals in their purpose to carry a life together pursuing further in their married life the "dharma" - duty, "artha" - possessions, "kama", and "moksa" - which means 'ultimate spiritual release'.  These weddings are performed in the presence of their families and the family deities as well, since a Hindu marriage couldn't be complete without the blessing of a spiritual divine figure.


The rituals of a Hindu marriage follow the customs that have been inherited from ancient times during the Vedic period this is the reason why these weddings are still carried in Sanskrit, the couple following at the same time the law according to which two people will end up growing together in a married life which will eventually turn them into soul mates.

Apart from these blossoms, the most used floral element in arrangements and garlands is the rose either red or white, this bloom symbolizes passionate love - for the red color, purity, secrecy, you are heavenly - for the white color of a rose bloom. Another flower to be part of a Hindu wedding decoration is white lily that has the meaning of majesty, purity, virginity and lover's statement: "it is heavenly to be with you".  The weddings carried in the Hinduism religion are generally seen as royal affairs, therefore everything that belong to these events have to be rich and lavish presenting the wedding couples as royalties.

The combination of red and yellow presented in the Hindu wedding unfolding is used even in the tapestry, in the cushions of the seats, in the color decoration of mandapams, the place that hosts the wedding couple in the performance of their wedding ceremony.  Therefore the choices of flowers should go for this colors combination and it is only up to the wedding couple to decide which bloom's meaning matches the best their feelings and beliefs.
