We think that the majority of the brides and grooms today are capable of anything in order to make their wedding a successful event that everyone will cherish and remember or talk about for the rest of their lives. And when we say “capable of anything” we mean adopting a more whimsical, weird or unusual and perhaps dark theme or color scheme in order to obtain a more eye-catchy, imposing and extravagant effect. Perhaps the pink and the red color scheme is not the most adequate or relevant example in this regard but it is definitely a more interesting and intriguing alternative to all those predictable and standard colors that are usually incorporated in a wedding.

There are still many brides or couples who say that the red theme is old fashion, too traditional or already dated to be chosen for a modern wedding today. And we tend to agree with this opinion unless the red hue is used in a more appealing and clever color combination. This is the faster way to planning a successful and fashionable wedding: mixing various colors that are considered old fashion or expired and too classic for a chic contemporary wedding and see what a nice and flattering creative effect you can obtain! Take a look at these red and pink wedding flower centerpieces and tell us what you really think!

The red color will add more fire, passion, intrigue, boldness, extravaganza, daringness, cheerfulness, attractiveness, flame and exclusivity to the wedding, while the pink nuance will add more sensuality, delicacy, refinement, femininity, grace, romance, youthfulness, subtlety, nonchalance and naturalness to the décor. Combining the vibrant red with the soft pink can only be a clever inspired idea of obtaining a more equilibrated and unified rich effect. There are so many types of fresh natural flowers that can be found in these two popular colors, where the most popular ones are: sweet peas, ranunculuses, peonies, anemones, amaryllises, freesias, cherry blossoms, lilacs, lavenders, orchids, calla lilies, garden roses and hydrangeas.

Me and my wife had a red theme wedding, combined with red-gold accessories. It was a beautiful and romantic wedding . So, the red color adds more passion to all the wedding. I find it even a romantic color. Is not old fashioned! I would say rather classic!
