The bridal bouquet has to be in the same tone as the other colors used in the wedding and has to integrate itself in a harmonious manner in the whole bridal look. Choosing a pink and white bouquet is both stylish and feminine.
The bouquet does not have to be made out of a singular type of flower because its design is based solely on the colors used and not on the plants themselves. And the beauty of it is that you can use various shades of pink so as to come up with a colorful, yet tasteful bouquet.
For example, you can use pale pink roses, hydrangeas of a softer pink tone and more warmed-colored pink carnations. White can be incorporated by adding a couple of roses of this color. The bouquet should not abound in roses, no matter what color they are, if you want to maintain that balance between the flowers. It is best to know in advance what type of flower to choose for that pinch of white so as to create a cohesive bridal bouquet. It might seem a peculiar choice of flowers, carnations being less formal. But these flowers all blend in perfectly, you will be amazed to see the result.
Reddish pink roses can also be combined with white cala lilies. If you wish to add something to the two colors, you can use green foliage to make the bouquet pop out. It will also delineate the margins of the bouquet more clearly and it will not look as if it is incomplete.
For a spring wedding, tulips are perfect. You don’t even have to bother with mixing and matching them with other flowers. You can have your bridal bouquet made out completely out of tulips in different shades of white and pink. It is a seasonal bouquet and it is not sophisticated, but it brings out that sense of naturalness which is appropriate for a less formal wedding. Choosing pink for your bridal bouquet reflects your sweet nature, without eclipsing your femininity.
