How To Make A Wedding Bouquet Using Silk Flowers
Flowers in an atmosphere of a wedding are the elements to bring brightness and color in a way that only the natural ones could do. This is the thing that my friend used to consider the moment it came to selecting the flowers for her wedding. She is in love with flowers, she has even improvised a little glass house on the space of her tiny balcony to grow some exotic flowers that need special care. So it was more than obvious to choose fresh flowers for the ambient of her wedding celebration, and one evening we gathered together with her mom and her bridesmaid to decide what would be the blooms for her bridal bouquet, the bridesmaid’s and the button holes as well.
Her bridesmaid suddenly came with a peculiar request: she asked my friend to make the bridal bouquet out of silk flowers. We looked at her surprised by the request and asked, of course, what the problem was. She said that she needed to be sure to catch the bouquet that my friend would throw at the end of the ceremony and keep it as a memory for the moment when it would be her turn to get married. She intended that in the day of her wedding to hold the same bouquet since she took that as a sign of good luck for her future married life.

My friend was very impressed with the request and although she knew that there were natural fresh flowers that could be preserved, as much as she would have liked to she didn’t insist on the choice of fresh blooms for her bouquet. For one, because she knew as well that the fresh flowers as beautiful as they can be preserved, they would reach the moment when their colors extinguish and the sparkling of life inside dies. So there we were searching the internet web pages for the silk made flowers the ones my friend was supposed to hold as a bridal bouquet while she walked down the aisle.
The question was: how to make a wedding bouquet using silk flowers? Were they enough in their artificial aspect to enrich the look of the bridal bouquet in that manner that the photos would look beautiful? Or should we need extra touches, such as fresh green plants or accessories like beaded wands to decorate the bouquet? I came with the idea to choose a mixture of silk flowers to go with the gold embroidery my friend had on her wedding dress. The choices for the blooms’ colors were red, gold and some greenery inserted inside the bouquet and a gold silk ribbon used for tying.

We needed now to find the specific blooms, still thinking if to go for the red roses with gold blooms and some beaded wands inside when we realized that the gold blooms would be rather hard to find, so we dropped this choice and decided on the yellow blooms instead. The ehow web site delivered some instructions on
how to make a wedding bouquet using silk flowers the only thing left to be done and the most important one was the enquiry about the silk blooms at the local florist.
In case he/she wouldn’t be able to help we would go for the florists advertising on the online sites and try to find the silk flowers we need and do the job by ourselves following the instructions and our imagination, sometimes these non-planned things work better than the ones previously planned.
