We are big fans of the green theme (as in colors) and we believe that those of you who decide to go with it will be pleased and satisfied with the results. Of course, it all depends on the exact type of green each one of you is using for the floral arrangements.
The green color palette contains gorgeous pastel and bold shades, one more beautiful than the other. Both the neutral and the vibrant nuances are popular or trendy today for weddings. The softer tones, such as: lime green, emerald green, sage and meadow green are more adequate for high class refined and elegant weddings, while the darker tones – mint green, forest green and hunter green and more fitted for outdoors nature inspired and casual or dramatic weddings.
For a green wedding bouquet to look at its best, you will need lots of greeneries, leaves, herbals and other plants that you can use for making the arrangements as lavish, sophisticated and abundant as possible. These greeneries will also give the bouquet a nice fresh, sumptuous and natural look that you will definitely like! There are still many brides of today who believe that the green color is just too much for a wedding, or simply too provocative, bold and inappropriate for such an elegant and formal event. But it all depends on the way each one of you decides to plan the bouquet!
As we said before, it’s very important to be more attentive with the green nuances you choose, as well as with the exact types of flowers you’re using for the bouquet. If you still think that green is too much for your wedding, try and combine it with white, yellow, pink, cream or other soft colors that can lighten up the bouquet and make it look more elegant and adequate for a classy wedding. Here are a few examples of real flowers that you can use for composing your own green wedding bouquet: hydrangeas, dusty miller, sage, chrysanthemums, carnations, gerbera daises, roses, spider mums or button mums, gladiolas and viburnum.
