Once you install this application named Giftreez and invite all your friends to join in as well, you can start gifting each other. I know, you’re going to thing what is the big deal? There are already some Facebook applications that allow you to exchange gifts with your friends. Yes there are. But can you put those gifts into their Christmas tree?

Giftreez is this brand new application that lets you have your Facebook Christmas tree and fill it with decorations that you receive from your friends. When they send you these decorations, you receive 5 points for each one. They will put them up in your tree and using the customize function you can move them around and arrange them just the way you like. Who says you should only have one tree at home? Decorating the tree is one of our favorite things to do in the winter holidays. Let’s take advantage of this online opportunity as well.

There are three main tabs in this application. The first is “my tree”, then you have “browse treez” and the last one is “invite more friends”. The second tab will redirect you to a page where you can see all the trees on your network. You can only see trees from friends that have installed this application as well. When you visit each tree separately, underneath you have another 3 options. By clicking the first one, you state that you like that tree and you’re basically voting for it. Every vote that you give out means one point for you and if your friends like your tree as well, you receive 2 points.

The second option is the one that allows you to give out some Christmas decorations to your friends. A small window will open and you can choose between dozens of cool stuff that you have to drag and drop in your friend’s tree. After doing so, you will see another small window that tells you to type in a message that your friend can read. Write in whatever you feel (writing a message is mandatory or else you cannot send that gift) and send the decoration. You will then receive another 10 points and the person that gets your gifts has 5 points as well. 750 gathered means you can upgrade your tree to a medium size and if you want the biggest tree, you need 1500 points. As you can see, it’s very simple to use and it’s fun to see who has the most beautiful Christmas tree at the end. The more gifts you send and receive, the more points you get and here is your chance to become more popular.
