Flowers Seeds Poem for Wedding
Posted in: Uncategorized | July 11th 2009 | no comments
As the voice of priest would say
To sow the seed of love
In the holy matrimonial ground.
As a seed of the flower would grow
And turn into a richness of green,
Red or purple or blue
Thus the seed of love will grow
And turn into an everlasting flow
Of passion and respect and joy
So purely blessed thy blossom be!
Once someone said a sentence that through its universality gained the status of an old adage: "All the flowers and trees of tomorrow are in the seeds of today" . This saying can represent the symbol that stands at the basics of the whole ritual of a wedding. Rephrasing the sentence in the light of a holy matrimony we see the flowers of tomorrow as the children born out of the seed of love between wife and husband, the seed - meaning the love that generates the good things of tomorrow.
The seed, which is the love, if it sowed on a fertile soil, which is the harmony and peace between man and wife, can grow into a beautiful plant that if watered, which means the falling tears of joy and happiness, can grow even taller and steadier. The feeling of love so beautifully compared to a seed, is the only feeling that can bring warmth, peace, understanding, and harmony in the life of a married couple; only love is the thing that bond two people together with the sense of eternity. That is why some weddings introduce a custom that allows the guests or the family of the marital couple to recite flowers seeds poems for wedding as an homage brought to the event that unite two persons for life. These poems do not have to be consecrated ones, but they need only to express the good wishes for the couple and their future life together. A life that should be filled with the joy of having children, otherwise what can be the use of a marriage if not to end up in giving birth to tiny flowers that in time will grow and spread in their turn their seeds, thus fulfilling the destiny of humankind - the procreation.
It's the cycle of human life that belongs to the cycle of nature, after all we are all part of this big picture called nature! Henry David Thoreau once said:"...I have great faith in a seed. Convince me that you have a seed there and I am prepared to expect wonders." This is what the bride or the groom should include while reciting flowers seeds poem for wedding to one another or while they exchange vows. The moment they know that the seed of love is in there, it can not follow but wonderful things to happen in their life. Through marriage husband and wife sow the seed of love on the fertile soil of mutual respect and understanding.
