It all depends on the formality of the wedding, on the exact location or on the theme that a bride decides to plan for her big wedding. In general, fall themed weddings are richer in vibrant colors and in specific decorative items and accessories that can match with the season than other types of weddings. Or simply the nuances are a little bit more dynamic, bold, whimsical and dark. While some brides might want to plan a formal dramatic wedding where they can use bolder types of shades, others might decide to go with something rather simple, unsophisticated, classy and refined.
For the second category of brides the bets types of colors would be the soft pastel ones. In order to give you a hand with all the planning issue, we have a few examples of nuances and derived colors that you can choose from in designing and creating your own fall carnation wedding flower bouquets and arrangements: chocolate brown, mocha brown, coffee brown, peat, maroon, champagne, cream or ivory, lime green, forest green, sage green, hunter green or meadow green, buttercup yellow or bright yellow, eggplant, burnt orange, peach, coral pink, blush pink, magenta, burgundy, plum, aubergine, scarlet red, tomato red, russets, dark purple, violet, lavender, mauve, lilac, hot pink, navy blue, aqua blue, turquoise or pale blue.
You can also use any other type of metallic hues, beiges or foliage nuances. You must be very careful with the mixtures in case you’re planning a bicolor or a multi-tone themed wedding. There are infinite combinations that you can make using the color examples listed above. You just have to be careful and match them all in the best way possible in order to obtain a unified color scheme that won’t look either ostentatious or too plain and simple.
Besides the precious carnations you can use any of the following types of flowers that we will mention here about: chrysanthemums, dahlias, hydrangeas, sweet peas, sunflowers, ranunculuses, asters, spider mums, freesias, gladiolas, garden roses, calla lilies, violets, orchids, anemones, Billy Balls, eucalyptus leaves, yarrows, zinnias, marigolds, Black Eyed Susan, tuberoses, lavenders, amaryllises or gardenias.
