It is said that a human being has to pass through several moments in its life: birth, christening, wedding and death. Unfortunately, some people do not have the chance to see all these things coming, as death takes them too soon. And in order to make God’s will and, at the same time, to mark a human being’s crucial moment of its existence things are being combined. This is the reason why they are dressed as for a wedding.

First and foremost, the day of death is more than cessation of earthly existence. Religion says that the soul continues to live but in another world. In fact is the passing from earth life to sublime, celestial dimension. And so, every person has to have its things done on earth. From here the tradition requires for those unmarried who passed away to be dressed as for a wedding day.


But not only cloths as for a wedding are used for funerals, but flowers too. Day of death wedding bouquet is a practice for both sexes. A woman will have in her cold hands a wedding bouquet while a man will have the same but on its chest. Extremely important for funerals are those wedding bouquets colors. On the one hand, it must have white, as the expression of a pure and sincere soul in God’s front. On the other hand, it must have also dark colors, as a suggestion for death, usually black and purple. And because they are kind of hard to find red is an alternative, as the expression of love from siblings and parents for the one that passed away.


Furthermore, the type of flowers for a day of death wedding bouquet has also its signification, due to flowers power of suggestion. Many people belief is that carnations are the most appropriate flowers for funerals, others say this about callas. In fact all flowers represent a final tribute.


Despite all these, more important is how many flowers a day of death wedding bouquet has. No matter how much the number of it must be even, as a symbol for finding peace and faith. At least this is what many people pretend to be tradition but also true fact.


As this subject is too morbid and sad I may say that there is another type of wedding bouquet for the day of death. In fact is all about Halloween, an original and scary disguise.


To sum up, on the one hand a wedding bouquet expresses usually joy and happiness. Unfortunately there are cases when it represents nothing, but lifeless. On the other hand, a wedding bouquet can also be part of a plunge to scare to death just for fun on Halloween.
