Daisy Wedding Flowers

Most of the times we are amazed at the beauty flowers have in their displaying; how they truly open themselves to us and show their colors and combination of colors, and all this displaying we get it for free! We do not have to pay to be charmed by the aspect of a bloom presenting us with unique feelings that a shower of flowers blows inside our mind and soul. But what I have never understood up to now is why did we have to categorize these nature’s gifts by conferring them symbols and meanings that do not necessarily have to be the right ones?! I love plenty of flowers and their color as well, but I was very disappointed to find out that some of them have meanings that are not as beautiful as their blossoms are.

Examples are more then plenty; for instance I love yellow chrysanthemum but I was very unhappy to learn that it means actually slighted love, the yellow carnation which is very lively and sparkling and jolly in its appearance, I have soon found out that it means rejection, disdain, and disappointment. And God knows how many of these delicate flowers have meanings that do not go with their beautiful displaying! Then, my question is: how come that we have reached the need to classify the flowers following their colors and blooms with features that belong to the human nature? Wasn’t enough for us their simple and unique displaying, did it have to be included in some branded patterns?

But as much as I beat my brains with this problem, the fact remains the same:  flowers when presented in different occasions are chosen according to their meaning and there is nothing I can do about it! The same thing happens whenever brides have to think of their wedding theme as the source of inspiration for the shower of flower inside their wedding unfolding. Taking for instance the spring theme of a wedding: the theme itself brings the bride in the position to choose daisy as floral decorative item to embellish the aspect of her bridal bouquet, the one of her bridesmaids’ bouquets as well as the overall atmosphere of the wedding celebration.

Daisy wedding flowers are sweet in their blossoms, presenting the multitude of colored petals surrounding the flat golden coin-like center. These flowers carry within their aspect the meaning of loyalty in love, beauty and fidelity.  Apart from these meanings we find daisy as the bloom to stand for innocence and modesty, these meanings all together determine the bride to choose daisy wedding flowers as the fresh, natural element to adorn the ambient of her wedding venues – in church and in reception rooms.

But the outdoor weddings are as well locations appropriate for these flowers displaying, their appearance enhancing the natural setting in a joyful way and their variety of colors could be enough to be used as single type of bloom in the decoration of the outdoor place as well as the table centerpieces arrangements. Choosing a DIY planning of floristically arrange the setting of a wedding is an enlightening experience that draws a bride to a unique experience revealing her the ways Mother Nature offers itself to us through the presence of the delicate daisy flower.
