Aisle Wedding Flowers
Weddings in their unfolding are celebrations that are meant to honor the decision of a couple to join each other in the holy act of holy matrimony. This event although is seen as the performance of two main figures – the bride and the groom – holds the opinion of being mostly a bride’s event. Almost everything that is displayed throughout the entire duration of a wedding festivity is accurately designed to relate to the bride’s performance. Starting with the theme of the wedding and reaching the wedding cake, the final element included in the wedding celebration, everything is planned to harmonize in color and spiritual meaning to the appearance of the bride.
Planning the decoration of your wedding festivity you reach at a certain level where the choice of floristic arrangement is tightly connected to the bride’s decision. She is the one that is supposed to hold the bridal bouquet, this bouquet being designed to match with the aspect of her wedding gown, and the color of the blooms being the one to symbolically reflect her feelings and beliefs towards the act of marriage.

Flowers are also important in the decoration of the spaces that are planned to host the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. Traditionally, a wedding ceremony is planned to take place inside a place of worship, be it a chapel, a parish, a church or a cathedral. The brides-to-be that desire to have this traditional way of joining their man in a religious place make their appearance in a majestic entrance. This entrance is rehearsed long before the actual ceremonial takes place, in order for the bride to know exactly what is there to do to perform her act in a flawless way.

There are plenty of reasons that lead a bride to the choice of decorating the path on which she threads once she makes her appearance in the place of worship where everybody is breathlessly waiting. One of the reasons is that she needs to have the
aisle wedding flowers as being the ones that symbolically accompany her decision in her way to commit to the man of her life. The other one is the desire to have
aisle wedding flowers as the ones to compliment her entrance in a meaningful way strewing the path with wishful thoughts and deliverance of love, feelings that every bride carries inside her excited body and soul.
The presence of the floral decoration along a bride’s walk down the aisle is a testimony of sustaining the bride’s steps into the decision she has previously taken once she accepted the marriage proposal. The steps she is taking are the steps towards the promise land of love, of commitment, sharing and dedication all these being reflected in the choice of the wedding flowers used to decorate the aspect of the aisle.
These flowers could be dendrobium orchids, pale pink roses, white roses as well, lissianthus, lilies; they can be also arranged in tall glass vases especially if they have long stems, such as blossoms to belong to gladiolas, irises, callas, bird of paradise, etc. Anything can work so long as the bloom itself relates in a beautiful and meaningful way with the bride’s appearance at the end of the aisle.
